Brand Ambassadors and Sampling

Over the last two years, Team Cycad has executed hundreds of campaigns across the USA, but only a few clients have utilized their sampling capabilities to its full extent. Team Cycad’s branding opportunities are widely known among the media world. If you’re looking to reach a mass audience or a niche one, Team Cycad can achieve both with it’s muscle powered, green advertising medium. However, although Team Cycad constantly talks about their sampling capabilities in each trailer (hundreds of flyers and small product samples), very few clients ever take advantage, until November 2012 of course. New York Health and Racket Club (NYHRC) ran an extremely successful campaign outside of their 9 clubs in Manhattan utilizing one and three day guest passes that were stored in each of the four Team Cycad trailers. Team Cycad provided excellent branding by riding in-between clubs, hitting key areas, including riding past and stopping at competitor gyms and parking outside the NYHRC locations. Team Cycad’s brand ambassadors (riders) then distributed the passes to people as the walked past the gyms. NYHRC reported an excellent conversion rate from those using guest passes to becoming full time members.

Via the various campaigns run throughout the USA, Team Cycad has also built an extensive list of excellent riders that have been trained to be top of the range Brand Ambassadors. NYHRC utilized the skills of the riders/ ambassadors to convey their message to the public while distributing the guest passes.

All in all, NYHRC were able to achieve excellent results by utilizing Team Cycad’s three core competencies – Branding through visual excellence with the billboard signage, sample distribution and providing the audience with something of value and the Rider Brand Ambassadors who were able to successfully relay the brands message to its target audience.
